We have a pool cleaning company that we use but they charge outrageous amounts for anything that needs to be fixed. We needed a new light in the deep end of our pool. Our pool company quoted us $1920 before taxes and the another $240 to uninstall the old light. Well we bought the light ourselves and had someone else try to put the new light in. Well he ran into an issue when pulling the cord through. Had this been our normal pool company replacing the kight, I can't even imagine what they would charge for the issue. Anyways the guy that ran into the issue needed us to remove some concrete and he would come back to put in the light. Well my daughter's bday party was happening in a week and we needed the light fixed. The guy that was supposed to come back was going out of town. My husband called Crite pools and they came out that same day . Even the owner Donna came out to address the problem. That said a lot to us. She stayed there in the heat with her employee all day until the light was in and working. She also fixed the panel box that was all connected wrong. She found there wasn't a ground wire which would of shocked us if the light was installed without it. She made sure everything was grounded. The panel box was connected properly. The new light worked and that our pool was working like it should be. And then charged us little to nothing for all they did. We own a business and for an owner to come out and get involved says a lot about the owner and the company they run. We trust her and talked to her about taking over the servicing if our pool. She said they don't do the weekly cleaning anymore but have talked about starting that up again and decided to go ahead and start with our pool . Donna is great. The employee she had with her is hard working and they are both very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Crite pools.

My pool has been in service since August 2021 (3 years). I had been experiencing an on/off alarm (relay stuck) on the Omni Controller for the salt generator for about 6 months. Donna, the Crites Pool owner, put me in touch with Hayward Warranty Repair Contractor for my area. She followed up with me and when I told her that I had not been contacted she personally called the Hayward Warranty Executive to expedite the issue. A warranty tech came out; however, It took a while to troubleshoot the issue because it was intermittent. The the issue was finally isolated to the actual controller printed circuit board. A new circuit board was installed this week; however, I noticed that the salt ppm level was not being displayed on the Omni Controller. The warranty tech noted that the unit just needed to run for a while. Long story short this was not the case; the Omni Controller was not configured not configured properly for the salt generator by the technician. I called Donna this morning, October 11th, and she came out this afternoon and configured the system for me. Donna actually corrected some configuration items that had not been giving me a problem, but would make the system more efficient. Even after three years she came right out to assist me. Donna truly understands the meaning of Customer Service which is evident by her actions.

Almost 20 years ago, Crites Custom Pools built our pool to the exact specifications we wanted. We've enjoyed countless hours of relaxation and fun.
